Dexterity
Dexterity is about one's skill with accuracy, precision, and balance.
Bonus to Hit (Finesse): Using the table, your dexterity will determine your bonus to your melee finesse weapons.
Bonus to Hit (Ranged): The dexterity score affects the character’s to hit their target with a ranged weapon or thrown attack.
Bonus to Dodge: The dexterity score affects the character’s dodge AC. However, the true dodge AC value needs to account for the armour worn as well. Your dodge score can be negative. Technically, there's no such thing as negative dex. Instead, base AC should probably start at 5, and you gain +1 to dodge every 2 levels. This would be more realistic, since if a person isn't moving, it's not too difficult to get some good hits in. However, this is needlessly complicated. Instead, Dodge shall always apply, unless a creature is held.
Bonus to Parry: Both the Strength score and Dexterity score affect the character’s ability to parry. To calculate the score, ((strength score -10) + (dexterity score -10))/2. If the total value is below 0, treat it as 0.
